Mail Delivery, Tweaking & New Flooring

~ WELCOME ~
Don't you just love receiving goodies in the mail? I ordered this pineapple from my friend Kath and it arrived yesterday afternoon. Poor Kath..... she has experienced firsthand what wonderful patience I have (lol). I felt so bad because I ordered the pineapple and she mailed it out priority on Monday and well to say the least..... I kept bugging her and now I am certain that she won't ever want to do business with me again. Yep, I am certain she will ignore my e-mails. I am sorry Kath for being such a pest! Anyway, let's get to the matter at hand and this is about my big and beautiful pineapple!! Didn't Kath do a wonderful job on this? I knew when I first saw that she created this beauty that I HAD TO HAVE ONE and well I was finally able to get one. I wanted to the biggest one that she had for in my entry way. I just love how it turned out and what a great way to welcome all who enter into my home. Kath - I will think of you everyday when I open my front door and look at my pineapple. I just love it and thank you so much for sharing your talent with all of us and making such beautiful prim items and for sharing them! I am just sorry if I was a big pest : ) Please forgive me!!
Oh and here is my spice rack turned bowl rack. It turned out just the way that I had hoped. I added my prim bowls to the top and then added a prim towel to give it a tad bit more color. The stitchery was added, but the stitching around it wasn't completely finished so I think I might add a little bit of sweet annie inside that pocket when I receive my goodies from Anne's giveaway that I won a little while back. Don't you think that will look cute? I am still looking for a few other things for my 2nd shelf, but this is what it looks like so far. I don't think it looks too bad just the way it is, but we will see. I don't want to add too much stuff to it and then have it look cluttered. Know what I mean? Right now it looks perfectly prim.
Ah, yes, don't they look pretty together? Yep, they are GREAT together and they compliment each other so nicely. I am getting my entry way to my home all prim and pretty!!
Now, we move on to our new flooring for the entry way. My husband bought me this floor for my birthday and I am going to put it down this weekend. I am so excited to get started. It makes it look so much more classy then they plain ugly cheap linoleum that they put in the house when I bought it. I knew that I needed some color and this is what I picked out. Do you like it? Well, what do you think?
Here is a better picture..... of course I will share a completed picture when I am done and hopefully that will be tomorrow. If all works out ok then I am hoping that we can put down the same flooring in our kitchen. Oh and trust me, I haven't forgot about my kitchen cabinets. I will have those completed BEFORE I do my flooring. It is always a work in progress (lol).
Well, it has been raining here for days in Ohio. I think we could all get around in our inflatable boats by now. Luckily, it has stopped so I am sending out my DH to put some fertilizer with weed kill down on the grass. Hopefully all of those dandelions will disappear with the next couple rainy days that we are due to receive. Oh yes, we are due to get more and I am so NOT looking forward to it. Hope you all enjoy your weekend and if you are receiving rain then try your best to stay dry!!

Lisa, I love the pineapple. I'm finding myself drawn to them lately. You must let me know where you got it from. I also liked how the spice rack turned out. I think it looks good like it is but you could always add a little bit more to it. I like the flooring you chose too. I hate my tile floors they show everything and they're off white. Yours look like they'll hide things better. LOL!
