Labels

Good Evening Ladies. I guess I should say almost morning since it is 11:40 pm and I am still up here in Ohio. What am I thinking? Well, the good news is that all the border in my bathroom is off thanks to my wonderful husband. We went and bought the paint tonight and tomorrow morning I will start my painting in between watching my son of course. Hmm, that will be a treat! Alot of you have inquired about my last post. So, here are some answers to your questions.
1) Do you make your own laundry soap? No, I just use good old Tide, but I prefer to put it in my glass jar because it is prim pretty compared to the bright colored Tide Box.
2) Did I make all of my labels? No, I only made the laundry soap label. The other labels were purchased from Susie @ Yankee Lane Primitives. If you click on the name Yankee Lane Primitives then it will take you to her site.
3) Would you be willing to share how you made your label? Of course I would be more then happy to share it with you. I purchased some heavy computer paper or white cardstock. I mixed up a coffee/tea mixture and brushed it on my paper. I microwaved my paper a couple times for 15 seconds and then if I wanted it darker then I would brush the mixture onto the paper again. Once you have it the way you like it then pull up a word document and create what you want using Pristine text and add your border. Of course you might need to adjust the size and whether or not you want it bold or not, but it is easy to figure out and free.
If you have any further questions just drop me an e-mail. Have fun ladies and I will hopefully post before and after pictures of my bathroom very soon. I am off to nighty night land : )

I can't wait to do some of that paper. That sounds easy. I can't wait to see the bathroom too. It is raining here and would be a great day for working inside.
