With my cabinets in my bathroom re-done, I decided it was time to paint the purple walls to give it a more prim look. I am hoping that once I am complete with painting the walls, adding my knobs and decorating with my prim pretties......that I will like the cabinets alot more (lol). I have been talking with Kath over at The Olde Weeping Cedar and we have agreed that we think a a brown would look good in that bathroom. So, I went and picked out a couple different colors from the brown family and below you will see those. I am actually leaning more towards the Bark Gray, but there is also a Bark that is real pretty as well, but it is not shown. Decisions - Decisions!! The knobs are the ones that I picked out this evening and I must say that they look great with the cabinets. They are an oil rubbed bronze finish. Not too much bronze shown, but enough to add a bit of color to the cabinets. Definitely going to set it off once they are on. Anyway, just wanted to let you all know what I am doing. Kath has been such a GREAT help and bless her heart for helping me try to figure things out. THANK YOU KATH - You are truly the greatest!!

Oil rubbed bronze is my all time favorite finishes! You did well in choosing those!
Kath is a wonderful person to get advice from...she has an awesome bathroom. And looking at her crafts you can bet she will steer you in the direction that you need to go!
I am so looking forward to seeing the finished product...but I will not put any pressure on you! Just take your time! LOL

Love the knobs...what a great choice to put on the cabinets. I also like the Bark Gray. Kath is a great person to help you...she has a knack for primitive decorating.

Yep, I think bark gray is the color! I so NEED to redo our bathrooms - I'll be watching to see what you do with it!

Love the knobs and love the paint colors! I don't think you can go wrong with shades of brown. Your freshly painted cabinets will pop against that awesome color!
