Another Re-Do - I AM SO ADDICTED

Ok, so have I told you all that I am so addicted? Well, this wonderful world of blogland ladies has made me so addicted and I AM LOVING IT!! Sorry, I didn't mean to yell. So, I told myself that I was going to lay down for a nap while Cameron was down for his nap, but would you think that I could? Ah, nope I found another project to work on and I have been going non-stop all day and well all day yesterday as well. OMGosh, you would think that I would be tired, but I am not, I am just sore as heck, but other then that I am feeling great and ready for another project! Oh, I need a pill, an on/off switch or something to help me relax because I am a ball of energy. I did end up laying down this afternoon, but after I got up...... I was off and going again and just now got done for the evening. Oh, I will be so tired come tomorrow when all the kids are back. Well, here is my latest project. Don't ask how I work them all in because I really have no idea and I have no clue where I am getting all of the energy either, but I must admit that I am loving it!! This shelving unit is something that my grandpa made and to be honest it has been stashed away in my master bedroom closet. I never really cared for the color, but I thought it was cute and had potential so I kept it. I plan on putting it in my laundry room and putting some laundry detergent, dryer sheets, stain remover and all my other laundry room stuff on it. I eventually plan on getting some homespun and putting it on it to cover up some of the stuff on my shelving unit (kinda like a little curtain), but for right now it will work just fine the way it is. So, here is another re-do. What do you all think? Definitely has potential - huh?

~AFTER~

Yep, I must admit that I am very pleased with this. OMGosh, I hope I can turn off my mind tonight and give it a break. It goes 24/7 and you would think I would be exhausted, but I just keep thinking about what I am gonna do next. Does anyone else do that? Is anyone else just as addicted as me? Are you worse then I am? Oh, I am hoping that I am not the only like this (lol).

Lisa,
I'm the same way...I get tired and try to sleep, but my mind just keeps thinking of all the crafting ideas and projects that I want to do. I've even gotten out of bed in the middle of the night to write down ideas that come to me cuz I'm afraid I might forget them by morning. lol...

OK, let's all admit it ....we do have an addiction to this wonderful prim "way of life" but isn't it Great???? I keep reminding myself, it could be a lot worse!! Lisa, I can't believe you had this stashed away in your closet! Grandpa would be so proud of you!!!! We can hardly wait to see it all 'decked out'. Girl, you need to slow down a bit, we will never catch up, but it is lots of fun watching the girl in the lead!! Have a good week! Sherrie

It looks great! I love it! I know what you mean. Sometimes my mind works when I'm sleeping planning my next decorating venture! It makes it really hard to rest!

Lookin' good :) I get in those moods, too! I swear I could go without sleep and do anything as long as I'm doing something Prim! LOL Heck, painting was like an addiction for me, too for many years. I painted Shane's bedroom while I had a him and little Miss Aften who was crawling around the house. I don't know how I did it but I did! LOL

Have a great day!

What a wonderful piece!
It will look great in a laundry room...much better than being stuck in a closet!
My mind use to go like crazy like that too! But now I just dream, every night, about what I would like to do with the items I purchase. Now if I would just remember them when I wake up!

Lisa, that is an awesome piece! You did such a great job on it. Now it is suitable for any place in your home!

About the ideas and shutting down to rest...I have problems like that too, and insomnia to go with it. But what I lack is the energy! LOL! I wish I had lots more of that!

Have a great week!

Nice job! Love it! I get that way sometimes. I have to finish the idea, than I am at peace. Sometimes I have to write things down, or see it on paper also, then I am at peace. It is that creative thing in all of us.

You're not alone! I'm constantly thinking about projects. I have to give myself timeouts thought or I won't get anything else done!

I love that redo and its great that it has a special meaning behind it!

Looking good Lisa. Staying home crafting keeps us out of trouble. I too, have soo many ideas running through my head. I write them down on scraps of paper by my computer and put them in a basket. So many ideas from others in blogland!
How's that bathroom coming??
Have a great day.
