I am new to this Whatcha Working On Wednesday thing, but thought I would participate. So, here goes...... I am working on finishing my cheese board that I bought over the weekend. I am going to try doing mustard over black and primming it up a little bit so we will see how things turn out. Here is my cheeseboard. I currently have one coat of black on it and once that dries then I will apply the mustard (yellow ochre) and then sand it a little bit to rough up the edges a bit. Stay tuned tomorrow or later tonight for the finished picture. Wish me luck in the meantime...... this is my first time painting something with primitive decorating in mind. I am so excited to see how it turns out!! It is so exciting to see how you go from something simple to a masterpiece!!
