Primitive Dolls

There are many things that I love to decorate with, but I must say that I have quite a few primitive dolls. I just love them because quite frankly they all have their own cute little primitive look. I have so many primitive dolls that I change them out every so often so I don't get bored with them. I have certain dolls for certain seasons and some dolls I have out year around. I thought I would post some pictures out here of "some" of my primitive dolls so you could see what is around my home. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Happy Decorating!!

Lisa,
I love your dolls. I recognize Mrs. Blanchard, I have one of her that I made with her little bag of wool. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Lisa!....I am doing some blog hopping this evening and came across your's! After reading your Primitive Dolls post I just had to leave you a comment because I absolutely LOVE Primitive Dolls too! And I do the same thing, I change some of them out with every season, there are some that I keep out all the time though because I just can't bear to put them away! Your dolls are very cute! Janet :)

Hi Lisa,
I just recently found your blog and I love it!I just had to post a comment to you when I read your post about primitive dolls.I love primitive dolls too!I make them too and sometimes it is so hard to give them up but I have finally decided that I am going to start making some dolls for myself.I have lots of primitive dolls but very few were made by me because I love getting dolls made by other people.I think my favorites are prairie dolls and black dolls.I love all of your prim dolls!I am going to add you to my blog roll.

Hi Lisa,

The jar looks great from the other post and you do have a great collection of dolls!

I just printed my labels just my Print Shop software on kraft color label paper. I buy full sheets of it from http://www.kraftkottage.com/

The only thing is the ink from the printer is not waterproof so you have to be careful using the jar.

hugs, Linda

I love all of your dolls, they are so sweet and very primitive looking. They are something that I would like to have more of so I could use them to decorate with, especially upstairs in the extra bedrooms. :) Will look forward to seeing the rest of them as you post them. Which ones do you use as seasonal and which ones are everyday decorting dolls?

Love and hugs,
Stacey

Love your prim dolls!! I have several that look similar to yours. I guess my favorite is one I bought in upper S.C. and she is olding an electric candle. I can't tell you how great she looks with the light shining on her face, especially at night. I really enjoy your blog. Thanks for sharing.
