Change in Plans - Apples instead of Pears

Well, I finally found some fruit. I couldn't find anymore pears, but I did find some apples. So, after much searching yesterday.... I am going to kinda change things up a bit. I have painted all of my apples and completed one for you all to check out. I think it turned out pretty good, but I can't decide if I like the apples as well as the pears. I personally think I am favoring the pears, but when you can't find any then you kinda got roll with the punches and try something else. So, I will probably finish the apples up tonight and then start on something else. Stay tuned for what my next crafty project is gonna be. I can't wait to get started. Happy Crafting Everyone!!

Wooooaaah! I was just reading the post about 'searching' and when I went back there was a new one posted....YOU ARE QUICK GIRL!

Hi Lisa...thanks for visiting my Blog today and posting such a nice comment and for adding me to your list.

I just added you to mine as well....your blog is just WONDERFUL.

Okay....I was just talking to a customer today who was doing exactly what you are doing with the pears/apples.
She uses Mode Podge instead of the spray to hold the spices on and she said she loves it....try it and see how that works.

Hugs, Karen

I found a bag of wooden apples at GW but they wanted 3.99 for them...I thought that was kind of high so I didn't buy them.

Your apples do look good and prim!

Lisa,
Your apples turned out great. I've also used modge podge over the spices & prefer to the spray adhesive. Hopefully I'll be making a doll this week holding a prim pear. Have a wonderful week.
hugs,
Pam

I like the apples...yet I am with you...I prefer the pears. Maybe it is their shape that we like best!
I don't know, but you can't go wrong with either of them!

Good lookin' apples. :) I think they turned out really cute. But, like you, I really like the pears. I think it is a shape thing. :) Gotta love the odd shapes for prim decor.

Can't wait to see what's next!

Love and hugs,
Stacey
