Another New Sign ~ I Love It!

Good Evening Ladies! Hope you all are doing well. I started some signs yesterday and got as far as getting out the boards, the paint and my stencils and that was it. I was worn out yesterday. I just sat down and enjoyed my kitchen cabinets and enjoyed the company of my little boy. My husband is a teacher and tomorrow is his last day of school so he was away at graduation last night. It was just Cameron and I last night and we plopped out tushies down in my comfy recliner and watched a wide variety of cartoons. I think we watched Blue's Clues, Dora the Explorer, Yo Gabba Gabba, Wow Wow Wubzzy and the list goes on. We played with his blocks that I found for him at a garage sale for only $4.00. I was so excited that I found these blocks for him. He has quite a few different set of blocks, but these were made out of wood and then painted lots of different bright colors......just primary colors. He likes them because we can also use them to review not only his colors, but his shapes as well. He is a genius I tell ya. I am so proud of him! He is so smart and advanced and I am just so very proud of my little guy!
Well, I started back on my signs today. I added another gameboard to my selling blog and then added this FAVORITE of mine. I love it because it is so prim looking and because you can personalize the sign for anyone. I made this one for my home. I knew that I wanted the background black and the house white to match our home, but when I did it....... I didn't realize that I messed up the stencil (lol). So, I just traced around the stencil of the house and it turned out perfectly prim for me. I am very happy with it and it will look GREAT hanging on my front porch. As soon as it dries - that is where it will go. I'll have to take pictures of it and share it later along with all of my cute little prim pretties on and around my porch. I am excited to share some of that other stuff, but I was kinda waiting til some more of my flowers bloomed plus I still need to get the mulch put down. Oh - there are so many things to do and so little time. Anyway, take a look at my sign and let me know your thoughts. I added it to my selling blog in case anyone is interested in purchasing one.

You sure are a busy little beaver, Lisa! You seem to get so much stuff done! I'm envious.
I bet it was real nice to just relax and spend time with Cameron.
They seem to grow so fast!
My son watched Blues Clues! He was also into Barney, BIG time! lol Ahhh...what memories. Hard to believe my baby's going to be a senior in high school!
Well, I hope you get to have more time to relax. You deserve it!

Take care my friend,
~Kris~

I love hearing that parents spend time with their children...good for you.
You are going to have such a great time this summer with husband home and you can all be a family.

Your new sign is wonderful....you will sell lots of these.

I would like to know if the shelf is for sale in your header..if so I'll buy it. Or are you making them at a later date.
Let me know.

This sign is a real beauty, Lisa!! Awesome work and you will do real well with it. So glad you took time to rest last night. My daugter teaches and tomorrow is her last day....so I will get a little break from having our 2 grandchildren. I love taking care of them but have some projects I would like to accomplish this summer. Don't work too hard. Sherrie

Hi Lisa,
Love how your sign turned out!!
I so remember the days of Blues Clues...Josie loved to watch it. It is so hard to believe that she is 9 years old already. They sure do grow up fast. I'm sure that Cameron loves spending time with his Mommy!

The new sign is fantastic! You definately have been busy. I'm hoping to get busy around here now that school is out. Guess I need to start moving my stuff into my craft room first, huh?

Keep on painting!

I love that sign. You do good work Lisa. I'm going to have to take a good look at your selling blog to see if there is something I might need.
I so remember those shows from when my kids were little. Enjoy every moment with Cameron. They don't stay little for long.
Enjoy the rest of your week.
Hugs,
AMY

I don't know how you do it, you're always making something new. I can't seem to get a project finished before getting side tracked onto something else.
I love this sign! Is that one of the stencils you bought too?
You're like the energizer bunny, you keep going and going and going and......
