Happy to be feeling better…

Well, I must say that I think I am finally starting to feel better.  It is definitely about time seeing as though I was sick for about 2 weeks, thought that I was better for 3 days and then got sick again.  I went to the doctor and he told me that I probably never got rid of the sinus infection that I had, but just triggered something that worsened things and stirred things up to the point where I was feeling awful once again.  Anyway, after 2 rounds of different antibiotics and lots of nasal spray, I am starting to feel more like myself.  Thursday and Friday were days that I just felt AWFUL.  The fluid behind my ears was causing me to be dizzy and the medicine made me lightheaded and my ears were just causing me quite a bit of pain.  I am just happy that the pain has subsided a bit.

Anyway….. since I felt better today we decided to go out.  I met Cindy from Cynthia Lee Designs and picked up a pillow that I had her make for Cameron.  Back when I met her for the first time, she made me a prim pillow and Cameron had adopted it as his own.  Well, we went to pick up his Mickey Mouse pillow today and I must say that he is so proud of it.  He loves it and hasn’t put it down much if any.  Here he is with his pillow.  He had to call “Mawma”, my Mom and show her the pillow.  I thought that was too cute considering that she can’t really see it through the phone (lol).

We also decided to pick some apples so we went to an Apple Orchard in the next town to pick apples.  I must say that Cameron loved it.

Yep, he even enjoyed taste testing!!  I think our favorite apple is the Honeycrisp…… Yummy!

So, let’s talk about prims shall we?  I must say that I am so happy that I am feeling better because my home needed some TLC or maybe I should say that my walls needed some prim goodness.  I finally was able to have enough time and energy to hang some new things on my wall.  Yep, you heard me, I decorated my family room walls and worked on tweaking a little here and there.  No pictures to share quite yet, but soon – I promise!!

My DH sanded a toy box that Cameron had in his room.  I thought that I would bring it downstairs and utilize it for his toys.  I knew that there was no way that I was going to keep Winnie the Pooh on it so I had my hubby sand it for me today.  The neat thing is that it use to be Shawn’s toy box when he was younger.  I am going to paint it red over black and use it here in the family room.  I thought it would great to hide those toys and when he is done with it then it is finished and ready for me to put blankets and such in it.  I don’t know about you, but I kinda like things hidden.  So, here are a couple pictures of it before the make-over.  Once it is done then I will post after pictures of course.  Stay Tuned.

Definitely has great prim potential – don’t ya think?  I can’t wait to re-finish it.  It will be great to hide those toys that I am constantly stepping on and then I won’t have to listen to Cameron say “What’s the matter Mommy”.  Uh, honey (gritting my teeth) Mommy just almost broke her neck and legs, but that is ok.  Will you be so kind to pickup your toys please?

Well, I think I am going to go tweak a little bit more while it is quiet.  Hope you all enjoy your Sunday.

Until Next Time…..

Happy to hear you are feeling better! Can't wait to see what you are up to in that room :) That toy box would be fabulous all primmed up! It's a nice, classic design. I was looking at Gannon's 'downstairs' toy box yesterday and was thinking it needed some prim painting too! Have a fun 'quiet time tweaking'...I love being able to 'think' when everyone else is sleeping. :-)

Glad to hear you are on the mend, and that toy box sure does have ALOT of prim potential, can't wait to see what you do to it:)I love the pics of Cameron in the orchard, we had a late spring freeze here, so our apple crops were destroyed this year. Love the pillow too, how cute:)
