Brrrr, It’s cold outside!!

It has been very chilly here in Ohio.  Too cold to be going outside so I have been working on the inside of my home and trying to change things around a little bit here and there.  I was finally able to get my bowl rack up on the wall and get it decorated.  It took me some time, but I am pretty pleased with the way it looks now.  Here is a picture….

I also hung a few things up beside it.  I thought it needed something so I added a few other prim goodies!  Take a look.

Oh ~ I also moved my favorite chair back out into the family room for myself to enjoy!!  It has been in our spare room because we just didn’t have the room with all of the toys.  Now that all of the toys are back in the playroom….. I was happily able to move my favorite chair back out into the family room.  Yep, I have seen my chair in several magazines which is pretty neat and I found the perfect spot for it next to my punched tin light.  Wanna see?

Along with re-arranging our home around after the Christmas tree was taken down, we also moved the family room around too.  I thought I should get pics rather quickly before my little man hurricane came along and messed it up so here are some other pics of my family room and my kitchen.  Enjoy!!

Don’t you think my TV will look great on that cabinet once I get it re-finished?  It will be just what my family room needs.  My Mom and I also ordered some stencils so we will soon be adding a stencil border to my family room and I can’t wait!!  More pics on that coming soon!!

This is the entry way that walks right into the family room and past the stairs that lead upstairs.  Small, but cozy and I must say that I love our home!!

And……….. since my little boy just turned 3, I am happy to share with you some pictures.  He absolutely loved his cake and cupcakes and I guess you could say that we celebrated for a full week.  Crazy – huh?  Well, that is how it took place and there are more pics to come, but here are a few for your to enjoy right now.

Cameron is such a cutie!! And what is wrong with celebrating for a week?!! My hubby starts a couple of weeks before his, singing "happy birthday" to himself to the point that we're kind of tired of hearing it by the time his birthday rolls around!! lol

I love that niche in your family room!! Does your TV fit in there? You could frame it out and put doors on it to make it look like a cupboard while hiding your TV when not in use! You could make it to look something like what I have over my desk in my dining room. It doesn't have a back on it and used to hide my in-the-wall air conditioner before we had air installed. You could also place your cupboard you're refinishing under it to put your DVD player, etc. in and build a top piece that resembles a stepback to sit on top of it and no one would guess that you're hiding your TV!!! Oohhhh....the possibilities are endless!!!! Sorry...I got carried away!! lol

I love that chair! I can't believe you had that hiding upstairs!! The upholstery is beautiful and it looks soooo comfy!

Are you looking forward to the "heat wave" of 37° we're suppose to have on Thursday?! I sure am...I'm sick of these freezing temps!!

Stay warm my friend!

Ohhhhh Lisa I just loveeeee how warm, cozy and inviting your home is ! It's such an inspiration. Your lil guy Cameron is a cutie pie and is sure to steal some hearts. Can't wait to see your stenciling project. It's not been much warmer here in Indiana the last few weeks. Looking forward to the 30's we are supposed to have this week. It'll be like a heat wave lol.
Have a terrific and blessed week.

Lesa I like the chair in your family room. The printed fabric
in the chair adds more beauty
with the solid color other
pieces of furniture.
And the wall goes ideal with the chair. My granddaughter is 3
years old also.
I am staying in also.
If I need something from the store
I have my husband stop and get it
on his way home from work.

Lisa,
Cameron is just adorable in those photos...you can tell that he really enjoyed his birthday.
Love, love, love your chair!! I have one almost in the same print, but mine is a rocker/recliner. I just love how it has that old feel to it.
Well, I've paid you back by drooling all over your photos of your home. (LOL...) Love the way you have it decorated...so primitive and cozy!!
I can't wait until the temps warm up to around 40 in a few days. Going to go thrifting as it's just been to bitter cold here lately to even want to go outside.
hugs,
~Cindy~

Good day, sun shines!
There have been times of troubles when I didn't know about opportunities of getting high yields on investments. I was a dump and downright stupid person.
I have never imagined that there weren't any need in large starting capital.
Nowadays, I'm happy and lucky , I started take up real money.
It's all about how to select a correct companion who uses your money in a right way - that is incorporate it in real business, parts and divides the income with me.

You can get interested, if there are such firms? I'm obliged to answer the truth, YES, there are. Please get to know about one of them:
