Wow, has it really been that long since I have been out in blogland?!? I guess you would find me more on Facebook then anything, but I have had several requests to blog, so I thought I would do just that for those of my lovely followers that miss me. So, how are all of you? I hope this post finds you all doing well. I myself have been through the ringer the past couple months, ok maybe a bit longer, but I am surviving which is great news.
It all started at the end of February. I was experiencing some pain, discomfort, blood in my urine and every urologist that I went to told me that I kidney stones, but they weren’t big enough to cause so many problems. So, I went in for a kidney biopsy and they found after doing a 2nd ct scan that the stones were now blocking each ureter and they admitted me to the hospital. To make a long story short, I was admitted and have had 3 surgeries since the beginning of March. Lots of stents, lots of pain, lots of nausea and the list goes on. I finally have all the stents out which is wonderful, but still have more tests here and there to go through. It has truly been a nightmare!! I was off from work for several months, lost over 30 lbs and resigned from my job. I went through alot with my place of employment since returning so it was best for me and my health to resign and see if I couldn’t find something else. I just got so tired of being treated like crap and being disrespected. I deserve much more then that so I am happy with my decision that I made.
Cameron is growing like a weed. He is 5 now and will be going in to kindergarten in the Fall. He is playing t-ball and he loves it. I love it too and must admit that I am his #1 Fan. Imagine that – right?!? Gosh, I love that boy to pieces!! I just wish that I could “pause” life for a little while and keep enjoying him while he is small. He is just growing so fast and it makes me so sad. I know it has to happen, but I still can’t be happy about it ~ right?!?
Shawn is doing great. He has lost alot of weight as well and looks amazing. He made me a patio out back and has been working like crazy with it. He is so wonderful and takes such great care of me. I love him so much and I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband. Yep, it took my one loser to be married to and lots of others that I dated, but God sent Shawn when I was not expecting it at all. What a blessing that was for me and my life!!
Well, I thought I would share some recent pictures with all of you. Hopefully I will have some more pictures of our home to share, but I am hoping these will hold you all over for a little bit.
Hugs and Blessings,
Lisa
